Preschool/Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten(VPK) Program Details
Imagine Charter School at Lakewood Ranch (ISLWR) proudly provides preschool and voluntary pre-kindergarten (VPK) programs. Our program promotes learning development and academic growth for our 3- and 4-year-old students through various learning experiences led by our lead teachers and aides.
Dress Code
ISLWR is a uniform school. All enrolled students are required to follow the Uniform Policy implemented by the campus. Students are permitted to Dress Down only on Fridays for $1. Dress Code requirements may be waived for school-wide or classroom approved spirit days, etc.
Transportation
ISLWR does not offer School Transportation for our Preschool/VPK students even if older siblings are enrolled in our program. Parent/Guardians are responsible making the appropriate arrangements to ensure their student(s) arrive to and are picked up from campus at the designate arrival and dismissal times.
Important Information:
Parent/Guardians are required to be connected to Class Dojo for all school communication for parent-teacher contact, calendar updates, etc. Families enrolled in the Preschool/VPK program must also be connected to the Procare Parent Portal, which provides detailed information related to Preschool and/or VPK attendance, invoices, statements, receipts, and payments can be accessed in this system.
Parent/Guardians are responsible for maintaining current, accurate, and complete parent and guardian contact information. For the safety of all of our students, staff are unable to dismiss students to adults not listed within Focus and/or Procare as authorized to pick up. State issued identification will be checked when necessary.
Adherence to ISLWR expectations and Manatee County School District’s Code of Student Conduct is strictly enforced. ISLWR aims to accommodate all students in need of Preschool and/or VPK; however, we reserve the right to suspend or dismiss a student from the program due to poor conduct.
